Five years ago, I began exploring art with charcoal, ink, and watercolor. That journey naturally evolved into acrylic and oil painting, allowing me to experiment with new techniques and textures.You could say I went through my own "leaf period" for a couple of years. As someone who spends a great deal of time gardening, landscaping, and growing vegetables, I found endless inspiration in the natural world.

This series reflects that connection by incorporating organic materials into each painting. I began creating  paintings inspired by leaf cuttings from my garden, pressing leaves and layering them with a variety of textures to create depth and movement.

The result is a collection that celebrates the beauty, complexity, and quiet elegance of nature.

This painting series explores the theme of Loving Yourself into Evolution- the transoformative journey of embracing yourself fully as you grow into who you are becoming. I often blend wings with human figures as a visual symbol of this transformation: the unfolding of our inner selves, the freedom that comes from self-love, and the courage to evolve.
